Donate Surplus

CCRx accepts donations of clean, safe, and working surplus suitable for Chicago teachers, artists, and non-profits.    We accept donations by appointment only.

All donations must be sorted, bundled, and packed in closed, labeled boxes.  No plastic bags, no open containers.   We reserve the right to refuse items. 

 

CCRx is a 501c3 nonprofit and donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.  

You can Schedule a Warehouse Drop-Off (free) or Request a Pack-up or Pick-up (fees vary).

Warehouse Drop-Offs

Warehouse Drop-offs are for carloads of up to 10 boxes only. 

If you have more than 10 boxes, a van or truck load, you should email us in advance.

 

Our warehouse is at 2124 W. 82nd Place in Chicago's Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Donation appointments are on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Pick-ups or Pack-ups

CCRx can come to your home or office to pick-up or pack up donations for a fee.

 

Pick-up of already packed donations, sorted in closed, labeled boxes 

Fees are based on the size of the donation, generally:

$50 / car pick-up

$250 / for van pick-up

$450+ for truck pick-ups

If we Pack-up your donation, services are available for an additional charge.
