Host a Green Out! | CreativeChiRx

School's Out Green Out! (SOGO!, for short) is CCRx's annual End of School Year Classroom and Locker Cleanout. It is simple and fun!

Set up boxes in the hallways during the last week of school. One for each type of supply -- backpacks, binders, writing utensils, art supplies, etc. Everyone can fill them with whatever they don't need, but is "too good to toss." And anyone can take whatever they want -- SOGO helps you share!

Get your green club to create an awareness campaign, to weigh everything, to document the drive. Don't forget your supply cabinets and gym equipment!

Then label and close the boxes and bring them to CCRx.

On SATURDAY JUNE 22 we'll have volunteers from Chicago Cares to help. (Or book a donation appointment on your own...)

Green Out! Donations Drives are a great way for businesses, block clubs, scout troops, and other groups to gather their surplus and share it with Chicago teachers, their students, and other nonprofits.
