Just last week, on May 16, CCRx participated in a citywide gathering, The Chicago Community Trust's annual On the Table. With shared meals and conversations, On the Table events are "designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships and inspire collaborative action across the region" -- and inspire it did! Partnering with our hosts, Envision Unlimited, CCRx welcomed professionals from all areas of Chicago who are interested in creative reuse and how it can empower educators and artists. The night included DIY nametags (with prizes for the most outlandish), a Circle Swap (a preview of our summer programming), and best of all was a delicious meal prepared by some of the Envision Unlimited team. We can't thank our cohort enough for the great ideas and valuable feedback.
