Catch the Imagination Station!

Writer's picture: Barbara K.Barbara K.

CCRx's Imagination Station is a travelling creative reuse activity project that will be visiting three Chicago Parks this June.

At the Imagination Station, you can make Imagination Journals, Peace Bracelets, Recyclo-Pouches and more.

It is free of charge and fun for all ages!

What is creative reuse? It is when you reimagine old things into fantastic new things!

  • Vinyl streetpole banners become Recyclo-Pouches

  • Old binders and notebooks become Imagination Journals

  • Left-over fabric becomes banners and flags

It's all about using your imagination!

You can catch the Imagination Station at Murray Park, Hermitage Park and Davis Square Park in June:

Hermitage Park (5839 S. Wood): Tuesdays June 6, 13 + 20 from 3-5pm

Murray Park (73rd + Wood): Thursdays June 8, 15 + 22 from 3-5pm

Davis Square Park (4430 S. Marshfield): Mon Jun 12, Wed Jun 14 + Fri Jun 16 from -3pm
