Taking some time off of their projects at the Willis Tower and Union Station, a team of volunteers from Clark Construction lent many skilled hands to a variety of warehouse tasks this past Friday afternoon. We were delighted to host them!
Clark's team helped us punch out + pin up alphabet samples from our new Die-Cut Press; sorted out photographic equipment; deconstructed old binders so we could reuse the cardboard + vinyl and recycle the metal...
They fixed some wooden cubbies and added casters, and tested a bunch of iMac computers too!
We were super-happy to meet them and our high school interns loved working with the college interns who hailed from all over -- Wisconsin, Purdue, Illinois and more -- and were studying various fields of engineering. It was a great learning experience and super-productive too!
Thanks to Cameron Manning for finding us and coordinating the whole group. We hope you'll come back soon!
